As regard to creating textures for your props if they don't have UV maps then you will need to make them. There are free applications such as UVmapper classic in which you could make uv maps. Just make sure when you bring your UV map into photoshop you change the mode to RBG or something along those lines. Then you can just paint on top of you map

hi all , im not exactly new here but i have questions .
i recently began to build props and such for use in poser and would like to include textures for them , heres the rub as it were, i know so little about photoshop tht im lost when it comes to creating skintextures for poser figures or general textures for the props i build .
i am a trained artist however my artwork is all done by hand . so im looking for tutorials for beginning level photoshoppers covering the basics of painting uv maps for use in poser .
any body got any ideas?
