Can't figure out if you can post videos here but I guess I will find out.

Vue 9 inf with dynamic ecosystem 1280x720 times 2500 frames render took 7 days.  gave up on an earlier version with light and sky settings much higher quality after 10 days had only rendered 1200 frames.

Well I expected to be told, don't post video links here, or the action was too slow for the music, or The youtube compression artifacts kill this, or I liked it, but nothing.

so folks>>>>Is this the correct place to post videos done partially or wholey in Vue 9?

It is.

But the Vue forum is not that busy as it used to be.  Poser is still the main deal on Renderosity.  There is a Vue animation forum on Cornucopia3D that might get more replies.

Thank you. I will take that compliment. In the "real world" I'm constantly being bothered by, I only allow my friends to make an "I like" comment if they will follow it up with 2 things they didn't like. Any takers?

I thought I hit too many trees too. Problem is The ecosystem was dynamic. So if I moved the camera, what is seen by the camera changes and the trees would all move. If I was to do it over (because I didn't plan on using my computer for a month) I would make an area heavy in hero trees and have the dynamics on the perifery only. I would also do it with much higher quality sky and light settings. here at -1 each. I'm re-rendering the last 100 frames of mostly sky at +3 and +3 for sky and light, but that is very time consuming at about 4.5  hours per frame

BTW my little 3 yr old boy liked it. I told him he could pretend he was flying when he watched it.

Love esther

HA - loved it!

Yes, I felt I needed Drammamine (sp?) and band-aids from getting smacked by a bunch of trees - but fun!

Yes, going to show it to MY kid tomorrow - he'll love it!

Thanks for the link!

I have found an audience amongst the little ones. They're not Hobbits, but kids will do fine. ;)
