My Best Friend, Jo ... on the last 42 years and partner for 1/2 of that ... just won the hokday writing contest here at Renderosity. I'm so thrilled.  For more reasons than just "winning".

First for fun I'm attaching the picture of "Blackie", the subject of her story. He was such a dear heart in our lives.  our little gargoyle cat.  :)

Second, I believe that Jo is a gifted writer who has trouble believing in herself and now she has proof and that will start her new year as a year to get back to her first love, writing. She will get her novel published now. Thank you so very  much.

There are a LOT of very talented folk here, even a few (hidden) professionals. So to actually win something is quite an accomplishment! Congratulations and Vivat! And I hope she is inspired to tackle the world!  ;)
