Using poser 7

I loaded daz m4

used point at on both eyes ( point at main camera)

went to frame 50

turned head

set keyframe

then noticed mouth ( upper & lower jaw) didnt move with head

can anybody help me  ?????

I've had that problem with V4 on a single frame and I just select a jaw and spin a dial just slightly and then spin it back. Then the jaw/tongue pop back into place for me.

Hi parrotdolphin

I shouldve added that i imported a mimic PZ2

its after I apply the pose(PZ2) that the problem starts

if all else fails ... I'll just animate eyes the old fashion way

**and let me add ... jaws stop animating period **

It may be that there is some nonessential junk written into the pose file(s) by mimic that is screwing up the rig.  I don't use Mimic but this seems pretty likely to me.  Look at the contents of the pose file and see if it is recording more than just the morphs you'd expect it to invoke (phonemes only I'd think?) and only on the Head.

I would just use the side to side and the up and down eye movement morphs.

Thats what I ended up doing

I looked through pz2 file

was just a little much .

couldnt find anything

wouldve been nice to get eyes to follow an object

and have character talk ... but what  duh heck ya gonna do

thank you all for your help

Try pointing the eyes at an invisible primitive instead of the camera.

IIRC, if V4's jaw "flies off" then you can do a "Restore Element" to get it back to normal.

Hey there nruddock

That worked ... Ive used  objects before to do that bfore

but not on a mimic posed figure ....

i dont know why i didnt try it .. i guess seeing it get stuck using camera i didnt try using anything else

Thank you very much :D

I used to have that problem all the time with Poser 7. It seems to have disappeared completely in Poser 8 / Pro 2010
