I got really amazed when found nothing searching for a tute how to set up a reference image for a basic painting course in Photoshop. Just wanted to learn how to paint over a blueprint... and nothing came out of it. Any suggestions? Do you know some tutes on this? Would be really thankful, I am just starting messing with this beast.

when you say blueprint, do you mean like a house plans type of blueprint?

can you post a sample? might help to get you a better reply if i could see an example.

If I had an approach for this, I think I'd use selections/masks a lot. Posting an image or two might make it more clear as to what you want.
