Subject: What Aspect Ratio, Resolution, Animation Options Used For Youtube Videos

Hello.

I'm trying to output an HD youtube video using Vue. I have tried an aspect ratio of 16:9 and 16:10 with animation render option resolution set at 1280x720 and Pixel aspect ratio at Square.  I am not getting a full window use in youtube with this.  Does anyone know of what hd settings I can use to fill the youtube window?

1280x720 16:9 square pixels, thats what i used, rendered as single frames and posted in Premirepro.

Here no matter what resolution, full 720p etc is chosen there are no bars or boxes. The 720p one does need a fast connection however.

Hello hobepaintball.

Your video fills the screen exactly like I want to.  I think my problem is somewhere in between some other software I used with the vue movie I made.  I made a vue video with a directory of .png files but then I used Adobe After Effects to assemble the files into a single avi so maybe something went wrong there.  To make matters worse I then took the output avi and dropped it into Sony Vegas Studio where I combined it with other video clips and stills so again maybe something went wrong at the Sony Vegas step.  Argh!  But hey, you filled the screen perfectly so I know now that those are the right settings.  Thanks!

You may need to make a custom output size in Adobe
