Subject: Real life character into 3D image?

LionheartM ( ) posted Mon, 31 January 2011 at 11:23 PM · edited Tue, 19 November 2024 at 3:59 AM

Hi,

I'd like to make an image using a real life picture of myself and everything else (props, other people, floor, background, etc) are 3D.

Does anyone have any tips or link to tutorials on how to do this properly? I want it to look very well done, not just cut and pasted on if you know what I mean.

Does anyone have any links to images like this?

Any and all replies would be appreciated!

You have two or three choices

  1. create a scene in Poser/Daz studio and then add a photo of yourself in a paint program .

  2. create a 'billboard' of yourself from a photo in a paint program and use it in Poser/Daz studio .

  3. Create a character from say Mike4 that looks like you and be entirely 3d.

For 1 look at compositing tutorials.

For 3 look at figure creation and the Poser face room.

Well I want the 3D parts to look 3D, not realistic. Cartoony sort of, but myself as the real character will be the only realistic thing. Like that movie.. "Who framed ___  Rabbit" but in reverse.
