How to control the Shadows Opacity of 3DSMax Daylight with Vue9xStream scene?

I installed 3dsMax2011+SP1 and Vue9 xStream on Win7x64Bit.
I made a scene on Vue9 and opened it on 3dsMax.
I added a Daylight System on 3DSMax to more control the scene illumination, and checked on VuexStreamPlugin>Options:"Match Vue Sun with exixting native Sun object".
After the rendering, I seen that the 3DSMax shadows are too much dark.
Thus I ask:

  1. How to lightning the 3DSMax Daylight shadows, as they appear less dark and more transparent?

  2. I think that the Vue shadows (that influence the environment), are independent from the Daylight System shadows, that affect the 3DSMax objects. True?

  3. I don't seen any settings to tweak more transparent, the 3DSMax shadows, on the Daylight System: just the Shadows "Softness" and "SoftnessSamples". Exists in someplace others settings to tweak them?

Thanks!
Horsepower0171.
