First off I want to say.  I think what Cararra does with fur (like with the millenium cat, dog and big cats) is AMAZING! Hats off to DAZ for that.  Unfortunately I don't want to pay over $100 to just do hair, fur and a few portraits.  I want to take such wonderful fur into Vue 9 complete.  But that's not really it either, as the subjects says.  I want to challenge folks out there the come  up with fur for these animals IN THE HAIR ROOM.  Something impressive.  Surely the dynamics in Carrara isn't that different from Poser, they were originally from the same stable of products.  Anyone up for this challenge?  Or is there some inhierent problem with Poser that it can't accomplish this?

I've heard good things about Carrara hair but haven't really looked at any examples. I'm not sure how good the hair/fur is in Carrara 6 Pro but that was available free on magazine disks and you can probably still find a back issue somewhere. As far as the tech goes, AFAIK, Poser bought a 3rd party hair product, so not necessarily very similar apart from the basic principle.
