Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 01 10:58 pm)
I think you are just seeing a default head (P5 Don?) when you use an unsupported figure-try loading Poser 7 Sydney and going to the Face Room and see if her face is there.
Steve, You can take any figure to the Face Room, but the resulting head is unlikely to match the neck nor mapping of the rest of the figure...

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Thank you both for responding! WandW was right, of course. Oddly, the default head will appear even when there is no figure in the workspace.
Thanks again!
John

Ok, so now I know you're only supposed to use certain Poser 8 figures in the Face Room, but now Mike 4's stupid mug is stuck in there no matter what figure is loaded in the document.
I've tried rebooting, cold rebooting my comp, updating to Update 3 (which I didn't know existed) and nothing helps.
Please tell me someone has a solution for this. And I hope it doesn't involve an unistall/reinstall...I hate doing that. :^)
I don't guess I really need Face Room, but hey, it's there and I just want it to work right.
Thanks!
John
