While you can use modeling tools in the assembly room, conforming clothes models will still "snap" back to their default OBJ position. (No morphs, no bends)
The trick is to visualize where poke-through is occurring in the posed position, and find those areas in the default position.
I agree that being able to do vertex-level modeling on clothing after it's conformed would be an invaluable feature.
I'm pretty sure the limitations have something to do with how Carrara reads Poser content?
Thanks all.

This video has how to alter morphs while clothing stays on the figure:

I think the trick is hitting the animation button on the right side, after you are in the modelling room. Hope it is what you were looking for!
Good tutorial - right on point.
Thanks!

If I recall correctly, one of the benefits of C8 Pro is supposed to be the ability to adjust a mesh while it is on another object. In other words, one could fix poke through on a clothes item while seeing it on V or M 4 as the case might be.
I cannot determine how this is done. Does one select both objects and go to the modeling room? Is there a secret button to turn this on? Does it occur in the assembly room? Was it left on the cutting room floor? Is it an easter egg that must be hunted for? Is my memory of this reported function just a lost weekend fantasy, complete with flashbacks of screenshots of one green mesh over another mesh? Have I finally lost it and gone round the bend? Will the commissioner get to the bat signal in time?
Is there some documentation which might outline this capability, or the tool(s) to accomplish it?
I love Carrara but I must admit that the lack of decent documentation makes it frustrating at times.
Thanks in advance for any assistance,
Klebnor
