This is version 15.  For the last five versions, I've TRIED to fix Brenna's hair.  It's not bad, but it's far from perfect . . .

The "gliding" issue appeared to be related to camera angle.  Apparently, when the figure moves diagonally, Poser makes it look like she's skating.  Having her run directly at the camera appears to have solved that problem.

Enjoy, for what it's worth!

it looks good.

i think the feet are gliding.  a way i have used to help this is to go ahead and run the animation then set the keys to linear, turn off ik, and get rid of those keys i don't need. then i would plant foot objs from the original char at each space the char hits the ground.  so from here you can move the leg to foot elements to still them at the spot.

did you print the animation with ik still on?  i tend to run my cloth close, so i'd always get pokethrough with ik still on.

lol these projects do drag on don't they?  i'm working on one right now that might take the rest of my lifetime.

go that way really fast.
if something gets in your way

Thank you!  Changing the camera angle helped with the gliding feet.  I don't use IK at all.  I'm not sure what you mean by "foot objs."  Animation is relatively new to me, and the learning curve is very steep!

Normally, I simulate my cloth props at a .25 collision offset and a .2 collision depth.  Sometimes that works well, sometimes it doesn't.  In this case, I had to simulate the skirt at default values and bump up the cloth density in order to avoid poke-through.

These project DO drag on!  Someone has encouraged me to animate ALL of the images for my book promotions, but the thought of trying to pull that off gives me a headache!  Right now, I'm working on a dance sequence that's consumed my attention for the last three days.  It's hard enough to animate a single figure.  Doing two, especially when they're touching, is the sort of thing that inspires migraines . . .
