Subject: Poser Pro 2010, new mouse, scrolling library stopped working

jonnybode ( ) posted Fri, 29 April 2011 at 10:03 AM · edited Tue, 04 February 2025 at 2:39 AM

Hi!

I just plugged in a "new" mouse to my computer, the strange thing now is that I can no longer use the mouse wheel to scroll up or down in the Poser library.

The wheel works fine scrolling through the parameter dials but when i click in the library and roll the wheel nothing happens.

Ive been looking around in Poser but i cant find any specific mouse settings for the library.

Poser Version = Poser Pro 2010 (8.0.3.11916)

Grateful for suggestions.

Regards / Jonny

Same problem here with a Microsoft wireless laser mouse, and I've never got it resolved. My best guess is that the Adobe Air library doesn't recognise the inputs from such a beast. It's inconvenient, to say the least.

We have similar specs on system, mine being:

Windows 7 x64 - Intel Core i7 920 - 12Gb RAM

The mouse now connected is a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 4.0 (none wireless), the one previously connected was a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 (none wireless).

With the former i could scroll the library without problems, very strange this.

Same problem here with the wacom-tablet-mouse.

Connected my old mouse again (Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0), now this one too refuses to scroll the library but parameter dials scrolls fine.

Dont think its mouse dependent anymore, something must have happened to the library, very weird this...

Edit:

Fired up the 32 bit version of Poser Pro 2010 and changed version of library to flash, scrolling work like a charm here.
