Quote - I've had that on downloading all new purchases but I usually dl them individually because I save them to specific folders. Have you tried downloading them one at a time? Depends on how many items you bought I suppose as to how long that may take. Better than nothing at all though
Thanks for the reply. :)
Yes, I tried individually. It said the same thing AND after the failed download shows I have 4 of 5 downloads left. That's pretty sad...
So, I hesitate to try any more...
Also, still wondering if it's some sort of service down.
I just tried downloaded one of my older purchases and it started no problem. I won't try 'all purchases' as I have far too many ;-)
Could it be a browser problem I wonder? I'm using Chrome and where I get no problems with downloads, I do have problems with the forums and uploading my new products there - in those cases I have to revert to IE

You're very kind to have gone to the trouble to see if the service was down. Thank you.
I don't think there was a need to try all downloads anyway. As I said, I get the same error for ALL or SINGLE.
Their site DOES mention if you have problems to try another browser but, you know, that's kind of a pathetic fix for a problem. IE is the most-used browser in the world. I have no problems downloading off of iTunes, Amazon, DAZ, a couple of stock photo sites I belong to, some font sites, and several other sites that I get software upgrades/trials from. I get irritated at the idea of having to "muck up" my system with another browser install that I'll only used for them (because, apparently, they can't seem to do what nearly every other site I download from can do).
Again, thanks loads for you time and help. :)
Oh, I meant to say in an earlier post, if you end up using all 5 download attempts, just post here - http://www.cornucopia3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4528 to get them reset.
One other thing I just noticed is that you should disable any download managers or accelerators when downloading from us. Their system does not work with them.

I don't think the staff monitor the forums over the weekend (though I could be wrong). Monday is a bank holiday too so the earliest you're likely to get a response is Tuesday :(
LOL - I guess you're look at it from Middle England wink.
I suppose I'm used to companies "hiring" forum moderators and hosts that work around the clock. Having lived in Europe for 7 years, I should be more familiar with the--how shall I say it--more liesurely attitude some EU countries have toward business. :)
I was looking around and noticed (though I don't make use of 3rd party managers) the new IE9 comes with a built-in download manager. Trying to see if there is a setting to disable it now.
You're very helpful. :)

In most part, mainly 1 person (i.e. Christie) deals with any store problems - in fact she deals with most things there
A good name to remember, then. (for some reason, that sounds familiar...as if I had a problem years ago and she was the one who helped me...OR...it could just be a common name--LOL)
Quote - Only just yesterday I'd purchased a Vue object from Cornucopia 3D using IE 9 and it crashed when I tried to use cornucopia's installer. I downloaded it again using Firefox and had no problems.
Thanks for your supporting info that points to C3D's problem with IE. I don't understand why any organization selling something online wouldn't make sure their products (downloads) worked with the most widely-used browser and, instead, expected their customers to alter their methoed of browsing.
I mean, what if all companies took that shoddy approach and each stated something (to the effect of) "We have a problem with 'fill-in-the-blank' browser. In order to download your purchase, use 'fill-in-the-blank' browser instead." Imagine having to install ALL browsers so you'd have particular ones for particular sites.
And in a somewhat unrelated comment, I wonder what kind of confidence a software-developing company can expect in their product when the software they use to deliver content to you doesn't work with the most common browser installed...

Having posted amidst the tumbleweeds and crickets of the Cornucopia forums and received no replies, thought I'd post here.
In short, the post look like this:
A little irritated at spending nearly $200 and all I see is ERROR 503 SERVICE UNAVAILABE when I try to "downlaod all new purchases".
I might point out that I MUST check "my internet settings look like the above" when, in fact, they don't (because I am using IE 9 and the sample is out of date).
So, is the "service" down or is it some sort of IE glitch?
Thanks...
So, as mentioned, I have IE9. Running on W7-64. I even tried compatibility mode (to no avail).
So, knowing they sometimes have problems with their website "over there", do you think it's a problem with IE9 or, is there some sort of downloading service that's unavailable right now?
Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?
Thanks !
