Subject: Animation/Inverse Kinetics Question

Is it possible to turn on IK for a particular figure well into the frame count of an animation? For example, can I turn on IK for a figure at frame 500, yet not have it in effect from frames 1 thru 499 for that figure? And if so, can IK be toggled on and off throughout an animation?

I made a video of my method of turning on/off IK in an animation that works.

Thanks, OWL. I'll give it a look-see.
