Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 4:12 am)
A lot of times I want the lighting that might come with a specific sky, but I am planning on painting my own and/or using real life photos in my final image, so I just include an alpha channel in my render settings. Using said alpha, I can then quickly delete the Vue sky in Photoshop (or whatever image editor you use) so that you can easily drop your own background image into place.
I have Vue 6 Infinite; when I want to save a rendered scene without the atmosphere, I save to .PNG with 'Embed Alpha information' checked for Format Options dialog.

So, this may be a daft question, but you never learn without asking them.
I was wondering if Vue 6 (I run Esprit) has the abillity, like Terragen, to render a graphic without rendering the sky?
Thanks ahead of time for any answers,

Alright voices. Either you all learn how to take your turns talking, or I keep ignoring you. My head echoes too much for all of you to be shouting all at once...
