Subject: Gallery Upload Problem

romanceworks ( ) posted Mon, 06 June 2011 at 4:35 PM · edited Fri, 24 January 2025 at 1:53 PM

Don't know if anyone else is having upload problems, but I just tried to upload an image and when I went to preview it told me 'someone had removed the image'.  And then when I tried to upload again it said ' I have exceeded my daily uploads.'

It never uploaded anything so I'm wondering if you might reset my gallery so I can upload.

Thanks for your help.

Carol

Hey Carol,

Take a look at this link in our Faqs, it might help explain what happened. :)

Hi Janl,

Thanks for the link.

I did hit preview but never had the chance to do anything, because instead of showing me my image, it told me someone had deleted the image. . The gallery has been very touchy lately. This is the 2nd time it acted weird and wound't let me upload in the last week.Anyway, I'll wait out the time and try again later. Carol

Let us know Carol.  When you upload if you can just be very aware of every step you take (like preview, save, etc) just so you can give us as many details as possible it will help us know where in that process you might be having the issue.

Thank you

Stacey

Thank you, Stacey. I'm going to try to upload this morning and I'll keep track of my steps. Hopefully it will work okay. :o) CC

I am having problems uploading, too.

I KNOW the file isn't too big, I've uploaded several thing before. I even resised the image so small, that it was no bigger than 200x200, at 45 ppi, just ove 400 kb and still it's telling me it's too big or too small.

This has happened before, and I just end up giving up for a while, and hanging out elsewhere.

One time, it was so small commenters complained, so I went in to edit it, and the normal 72 ppi file loaded just fine. But that was after it had already loaded, though.

I can't even get the file to load the first time!
