Subject: How to delete only one thing at a time?

GaryChildress ( ) posted Sun, 12 June 2011 at 2:25 PM · edited Fri, 04 October 2024 at 2:47 AM

Sometimes when I load a prop into Poser I do so while a conforming figure is selected. Then when I go to delete the conforming figure, the prop deletes with it. Is there a way to prevent the prop from deleting with the conforming figure? I already have Mike 4 all dressed up with props and clothing but I want to delete one of the conforming figures and if I do so all the props I loaded with it will disappear too. How do I prevent this? Thanks.

props that are parented to a figure will be deleted when figure is deleted.

you can use the hierarchy editor to select the props in question and drag them to some other object/figure (like Universe) temporarily.

When loading props to M4 make certain that M4 is selected and not his conforming clothing items or the props become parented to the clothing instead of M4. If they do become parented to clothing you wish to delete, simply reparent them to M4 before deleting the conforming clothing items.
