Subject: How do I stop receiving emails when my wishlist items go on sale?

GrandmaPaula ( ) posted Mon, 04 July 2011 at 5:55 AM · edited Tue, 07 January 2025 at 8:31 PM

Hello. I tried to find the subject but couldn't so forgive me if someone already asked this question.

I want to know how to stop receiving emails each time a wish list item goes on sale. I get an enormous amount of wishlist sales emails nearly each day. Some days just a few nd other days I can get like 50, 60, 70 emails in one day! Wow. That's alot of deleted emails I have to do.

I want to continue receiving the newsletters and maybe even the special offers, just not the wishlist sales.

Thanks

Paula

So far as I know you can't. Which is why I periodically go in and delete everything in my wishlist because I get tired of being spammed with notifications.

Unfortunately you will have to remove your wishlist items if you do not want the notifications.

Oh well shoot. Thanks for replying. I appreciate it alot.

I wish they would change it so we can opt in or out of that feature.

Hugs, Paula

That is part of the wishlist feature that goes along when you add a product to your wishlist so you know when it goes on sale or anything changes with something you've shown an interest in wanting to purchase later or keep up with.

LOL, yeah I know but I have a gazillion things in my wishlist and even when some of them go on sale for like 1%, I still get the emails and I get 2 pages of them sometimes.LOL.

maybe the programmer can add a condensed email option (like the old Mailing Lists, Google Groups etc have) where once a day, it produces 1 email with the information such as the Wish List items for the last 24 hours.
