Hi!
I'm off to my first bodypainting event at the end of July, it's the Phizzog bodypaint festival in Folkestone (England). I'm going as a photographer, never done a bodypaint event before- plenty of architecture, & some glamour/nude, but I mostly go for black & white or sillhouettes. So not much use for capturing the many hours of work that go into painting a whole body. I'm not a professional in any way, & I shall be using my Fuji bridge camera to take the shots. No extra flash, & I probably won't be able to use my reflectors. Handheld, no tripod, as I'm expecting a bit of a scrum when it comes to getting close to the models!
Any tips on how to get the best shots? I'm guessing black & white or silhouettes just won't cut it with bodypaint.
Thanks,
Trevor.
