Subject: Poser Textures

I'm importing a steampuk castle into Vue 8 Espirit from Poser 7 and am having a slight problem.  The textures are coming in wrong - they are too big.  The blocks and rivets in the walls are huge and way overscale.  In Poser, in the preview mode, they look the same size (too big), but when I render in Poser they scale down to the correct size.  When I render in Vue they stay the same huge size.  Is there a secret to scaling down the textures?

Sounds like there is some issues with the mapping, but if they render ok in Poser, it can't be too wonkie. I've had this happen before with a few LWO models, so to fix them I opened the models in another app (Modo) and exported them as OBJ files which miraculously fixed the mapping scale issues.

I'd be curious to see what would happen if you exported the model from Poser as an OBJ or something to see if that helped to correct things when bringing it into Vue as otherwise you're probably going to have to go into the material editor and tweak the scale of the maps manually until they start to look right.

I did import it as an obj. file out of Poser.  Looks like resizing the textures is my only out.
