I figured it out!
I loaded both figures. Posed each at the required frame. Went back to frame 1 and ran 2 separate simulations. Worked like a charm.

I'm working on an image that will involve 2 figures, both with dynamic clothing.
I'm stuck! LOL
What is the best way to go about dynamic clothing when there is going to be a second figure in the scene also using dynamic clothing?
I've tried loading one figure, running the simulation and trying to save the clothing at the last frame into my props folder. That didn't work. When I reloaded the dress, it loaded without the pose.
I tried saving the whole figure with the morphs and clothing at the end frame to the figure's library. When I reload the figure, the figure itself loads fine with its morphs and pose, but the clothing loads in it's default starting shape (no pose).
