"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."

I just saw that there are more images. For some reason I stopped getting ebots on this!
Most wonderful images folks. Keep them coming.

It looks like the parents have abandoned their child completely in the midst of this Venetian stronghold. In fact they are in the trenches (or what're-they-called) on the right. Just after I took this shot they surfaced again.
And now I realise I chose three images from three different countries :-D
Yvonne
Yvonne - both amazing images but I must say that one with the guys hanging from the cliff face is particularly spectacular!
Thanks for sharing!

@Leonie I love your interpretation using space, such a vast and amazing thing, beautiful contribution
@Mies A beautiful autumn walk, great shot :)
@Maria I love this candid capture, I would like to see the picture your brother took here :) Beautiful texture shot
@Carin Your son makes this fence look small, I bet it goes much higher on most people haha great perspective and a BEAUTIFUL giraffe :)
@Yvonne Wow all three shots are amazing, great captures from around the world :) I LOVE the contrasting textures of the rocks, bridge, and trees in your second shot. I didnt see the people until you pointed them out haha and I am glad the parents were around for the third! :)
Today I have the day off, and my husband is at work, so I am going to try and get at least one shot for this challenge! Great work everyone :)
Lashia
It works for me Mies! Well seen and a lovely image!

Scale has changed. Eight smokestacks to the right, old polluters and now relics unused, then larger ones, much much larger two stacks and with those and the generators it did more output than with the 8 smaller ones. Now, smaller again but still huge..to the left is a "scrubber", cleaning all the bad stuff from the smoke and all going into the air is steam.
To stand near the plant makes a person feel very, very small. This was shot from a moving vehicle some distance away.
The plant is offline for the time while cleanup of spilt ash residue is being done. A defective storage area broke loose a while back, flooding a large area with ash.
Oh wow Tom - that is indeed a huge difference. Thank you for sharing the image as well as the very interesting facts!

How perfect! Thank you for joining the fun Clive. This is certainly giving perfect scale - the lady looks tiny against Mr Green!

Andrea stopped the car for me to get out and get a pic of this beach chair at a roundabout in Bournemouth. The first shot gave no sense of scale - just looked like a normal one. I took the second shot, including the car behind and the road signs to give a visual clue about the size.
Perfect for the challenge!
