How would I change the color palate in the materials editor?

I really hate using the "Color rainbow" especially when I am drafting a figure. the color palate is faster and easier.

How can I change the settings so that the Color Palate apears instead?

The attached file shows the palate i am asking about.

Click that little three-coloured thingie that looks like a flag. That'll open the palette.

CTRL-Click on the color swatch open directly the palette
