Light didn't exactly go through. That's just IDL at work. Part of the collar is glowing intensely, like a pink light source.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

It's a new color- beyond Hot Pink- "radioactive pink!" :-)

Thanks BagginsBill. I added the scatter node- I'll have to go back and see if I am using translucence- if so- would the light pick up the color?

 

BTW: the weird hair color (which I've seen on some teens btw) is due to Scatter set at "Ketchup".

Translucence is what we used when we did not have scatter - a poor man's substitute that hasn't worked right since the introduction of IBL in Poser 6.

Why would you use both?

And if you are using both, then you're going to put out more light than arrives.
