Have an idea for a MarketPlace product? Would you like to let the MarketPlace Merchants know?
This is the place!
Make sure you check The Product Showcase Forum and The Product Showcase Art Gallery.
what's wrong with the Poser hi-rez plane ? (apart from not being circular but a transmap would sort that out)

Hi FrankT,
I do know about the high-rez plane and have used it many times.
Bare with me and I will try to explain my dilemma. First off, I'm not a modeler, so I do not know all the terminology of this area. I do know how the clothroom works so I can get a simulation done.
What I'm trying to get around and away from is vertexes that pop out all over the place after simulation. A good example is what Doc Geeps says, under the heading "You cant bend polygons. http://drgeep.com/p5/cr/cr.htm
So, I guess I'm looking for greater clothroom detail (more polygons) and less photoshop post work detail.
I know this can be done because I have used dynamic outfits in the past that are very high rez. Of course they have much longer simulations time, I'm fine with this, as it beats spending hours painting out vertexes.
The other thing, is if you need a large sheet and scale up, you end up with bigger polys, that adds to bigger vertexes sticking out. More added photoshop work. My reason for large, medium and small sizes.
I guess if I owned a modeling program I could just whip this up asap and be done with it. But I do not have such a program.
So, that is it, if I'm missing some technical clothroom data, point me to the right place and I will educate myself and be done with this.
All I want is more realistic clothroom detail and less post work :)
Define "Small, medium and large" in terms of V4 - shouldn't take long for someone to whip one up

I was thinking from a creative point a view. In real life, you use sheets for many things, plastic sheets, bed sheets, a sheet to protect your car or a sheet for a ghost costume for a little girl or V4. When it comes to imagination, the sky is the limit for the artist.
The sizes, I guess, should be something that can cover a small table and up to something that can cover an elephant. The bottom line I guess would be up to the creator of the package and Poser's limits.

Plenty of modelling programs available for free.
You wouldn't need to learn too much to produce a high poly plane.
Your right, I guess I could do this.
But in truth, I just want to create art/images and not have to get into all the modeling stuff right now. And besides, I think this is a needed thing. And a lot of us would enjoy a package like this, a few clicks and it is done type of thing. It is why we buy the packages, it is so we do not have to do the modeling.

Hi content creators,
This is a simple one.
I want some dynamic sheets. Flat sheets, nothing but simple sheets.
Round, squire, rectangle and in small, medium and large sizes.
And the most important, high res, you know, with lots of polygons, so we do not get polys sticking out all over the place after simulation. You know the results, beautiful realistic flowing cloth. With the smallest amount of post work.
You can add low res for those machines that can not deal with the high res.
Material is not important as I think a lot of us have our own.
The only package I know about is by OptiTex,
http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=11406 and it is for Daz Studio only.
I think/know some of us would love a package like this for Poser.
So! Who is going to create this package? And let me test it ;)
Come on guys, this should be simple and fast.
