Subject: Morphs from figure not listed in Morphing Clothes

TheOwl ( ) posted Sun, 16 October 2011 at 8:32 PM · edited Sun, 17 November 2024 at 4:14 PM

I downloaded the new morphing clothes from D3D ver. 1.3

The figure that I have, under the Parameters tab>MorphForms>Morphs++ have this morph called ChestSize and I want to transfer it to the conforming cloth using D3D's Morphing Clothes.

I was looking for this morph in the list of morphs that was generated when I loaded the figure in MC but I couldnt find it and some morphs are also missing.

Believe me I looked and looked but its really not there in the list.

Am I missing a step?

It's a dressed up scale dial.

ChestSize in V4.2 scales the chest and both collars. It's not actually a morph.

With regards using Morphing Clothes, say I want to get a jacket to fit a morphed V4. I've tended to look in the morphs++ list for the character (assuming it's a morphs++ required character) and note the changed parameters that relate to the body areas the clothing will be fitting to, in this case, arms, shoulders, torso etc. and copy those across in MM.

Is this the general useage idea as to what morphs are actually needed?

Yes. Just copy the morphs that was used on the figure so that the clothes will have less file size.

Okay, thanks for that.

If your morphed figure has a value on the ChestSize parameter then just check the option "include scales when conforming" in the body parameters of the conforming clothes. Just simple as that because most of the time theses scales are hidden in the clothing. Or edit the cr2 to unhide it.
