I've forgotten, when you sidegrade your software do you then receive a FULL copy of the program that does not require a serial number to upgrade from?  With the UPGRADE you need to enter the serial # of the preceding version.

I have Vue 5 Infinite which was sidegrade--but I don't remember if it wanted a series number from another version of Vue.

I think this is not needed anymore since Vue 8, but I might be wrong. When I "sidegraded" from Vue 5 Esprit to Infinite, I had to enter my Esprit serial, but this was a looooong time ago....

The only reason I was asking is that I was thinking of selling Vue 5 Infinite and Vue 6 Infinite since there are still folks who want an older, less expensive version of the software.  So I will probably sell them as a bundle so that the buyer can use the Vue 5 Infinite serial number to do the upgrade for 6.  I can't upgrade from these and Infinite is too expensive for me now, so it will help to get them off my shelves.  I also have training DVDs I would include in the bundle.  That way the buyer won't have to have a previous version of the software to install.  Thanks for your helpful answer.  I know I have Vue 5 Espirit around here somewhere, but it was an upgrade from 4 so this will make things less confusing.
