Im so pumped. Now before i mess anything up, is there a  way i should transfer my poser 7 lybrary into poser pro 2012? whats the best way?

Also anyone know of some render settings that i should use for this version?

Do not transfer anything. Use the "Add Library" button to include all your existing content.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Just link the P7 runtime to PP2012.  I would never attempt a merge.  For that matter, python is different in PP2012; you will essentially break the app by intergrating.

I left Poser 7 exactly as it was and just added its runtime as an extra runtime in Poser Pro 2012.

I've personally found it easier to install most new content into the Poser 7 runtime too - that way I can use both Poser 7 and Poser Pro 2012 with the same content, and the new stuff that came with Poser Pro 2012 stays neat and tidy.

i7 5960X, 32GB RAM, GTX 1080Ti, GTX 980 Ti, Windows 10 Professional.  Running Daz Studio 4.11, Poser 11, Vue Inf 7, Photoshop CS4

Just add it as an additional runtime in PP2012. Both can remain installed seperately without issue.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

For what it's worth, this is how I have it set for typical casual rendering - trying things, not final.
