Subject: Lighting Question

I'm using PP 2012,  I am rendering an older hair using AO lighting, when it renders there looks like "wire" meshing" in the hair, when I don't us AO lighting it's not there.  Is there anyway to use the AO ligting an not get the "wire look"?  I've attached what it looks like if that will help

There's no way if you're using AO that I know of. This is a pesky problem that's been in every version that's had AO that I recall. It drives me nuts and others too...lol. Probably better off not using AO if you get that mesh shading. Increasing the shading rate on the hair "might" improve it some, but not enough that you won't see it.
