Subject: SSS Newbie Question!

Ok so i was reading alot of the sss threads and i most def have to read and study them more. But heres a quick newbie question.

To add SSS do i go into the material room and click the sss button for each part f the body?

Also i saw BagginsBill talk about chicken color and skin color and such. Where do i find that?

Sorry if these are bad questons, im just abit lost at the moment and want to learn badly!
