Vue 10 Infinite - Build 10008360 - BETA The following is a list of bug fixes and improvements included in this update:

Publishing Date: EEF: 12/05/2011

  • Fixed a possible crash when right-clicking in empty Render Display.
  • Fixed bad density of EcoSystems over CSG, when density production uses a projected texture map.
  • Fixed a possible crash with double edition of single material (if an editor is already opened for a given material, it will become active and no other editor will be created).
  • Fixed a crash when clicking on alpha and depth buttons in the render stack for loaded images.
  • Fixed a possible crash when closing the Render Display and Vue without closing the Render Stack Options.
  • Fixed the opening of the atmosphere editor from a cloud layer dummy (the right layer is now selected).
  • Fixed a crash when clearing the render stack while rendering.
  • Fixed displaying of old renders with relighting (done in previous sessions) if a clone was selected before the original one.
  • Fixed the edition of layers name in the World Browser.
  • Fixed selection of cloud layers in the atmosphere editor (now the same as in the world browser).
  • Added colored vertical lines in the render comparator to improved the readability.
  • Fixed a possible bug preventing minimizing Vue while rendering on screen.
  • Fixed animation option dialog when loading animated picture in material editors.
  • Fixed issues with splines made invisible in some cases.
  • Added the ability to select Splines by Material.
  • Terrain Editor: Added tooltips for new Custom brush controls.
  • Fixed colors of old rocks (pre-Vue10) when used in EcoSystems.
  • Fixed missing or wrong DPI value in generated TIFF & PSD image files.
  • Fixed drag&drop with colormap.
  • Repaired Distance to Object Below node.
  • Fixed a possible crash or freeze when animating splines with no geometry.
  • Removed separate alpha channel in MultiSampleImage node.
  • Fixed the cursor display in the Visual browsers (the cursor remained the resizing cursor when there was a vertical scrollbar).
  • Fixed a bug that caused the render window to go black on show/hide render bar.
  • Fixed a bug with metanodes, that prevented the road with centerline material to become a mixed material.
  • Improved the Preference system which could be overriden when loading scene saved using Vue8 or lower.
  • Fixed a possible reflection problem over displaced water surface.
  • Disabled the "Delete" menu command when only a camera is selected (deletion of camera must use the Camera Manager).
  • Removed bad tooltip (fold/unfold dialog) from the EcoSystem painter.
  • Render Stack: added tooltips explaining the signification of small icons added to each render (RGBA, G-Buffer, Relighting...).
  • Fixed a bug that prevented adding displacement to a hyperblob's underlying material.
  • [HyperVue] Fixed a potential crash when Hypervue exits.
  • [Windows vista/7] Improved application visual feedback during long processing (to avoid the user think the application is not responding).
  • [MacOS] Improved overall stability upon closure.
  • [MacOS] Improved Mouse wheel response when scrolling at low speed.
  • [MacOS] Improved motions of the function and terrain editors when dragging them around.
  • [MacOS] [RenderCows] Fixed the relaunch of Rendercows after a render.
  • [MacOS] [StandaloneRenderer] bugfix #0010389 - StandaloneRenderer was always marked as "Failed" and successive jobs ended up being launched concurrently.
