HI , thank you for reading this.

Im currently makeing a charecter that i need to pose and poss animate.

ive done all the work myself so far with the help of PhilC's tutorials for whats needed to rig a charecter'

so far i think i have the groups correct, ive added the bones to the groups ok and done alot of the joint editing, apart from small minor mistakes with wrong axis to the bones ive made  i think ive done ok so far.

ok, the problem is with this charecters nose and eyes, it seems to twist wrong when i twist the head on the y axis, like the groups binding to the chest or something, the eyes just seem to distort, they are part of the head group and have no bones them selves as they dont need to be able to move independantly.

ive rigged other charecter ok but not with additions to the head with bones before and theve worked ok with out any problems i cant fix myself if i choose to upload some day when totaly finished.

this is now frustrating me, im probaly now in that area where i cant see what im doing wrong so i hope some of you could see poss what im doing wrong.

ive added some pics and links below , i hope they can help understand what i mean.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks .

Either move the head twist start and end to be within the neck area, or more simply prevent someone twisting the head by hiding the dial.

To pose the head manipulate the neck.

thanks PhilC,

shortend the twist to a realy small twist that starts under the lowest joint of the nose to head and thats fixed it, and if i upload to share, ill just delete the choice to turn the head as you suggested.

think i had a bad case of trees n forest there.

thanks again
