Thank you for the tips on the cloth room. I am having a lot of fun with this and the lovely new Anastasia character.

Well, my project is still a ways off, but since you guys are showing all your cool Anastasia stuff, I thought I'd give a little preview WIP.

So far it's a rework of my old TailGunner set for V3/A3.  Just the design though.  These meshes were built for Anastasia.  I just hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew when I go to rig the hotpants...  ;-)

No telling where the polys will take me from here, but rest assured, there wil be GUNS!

Oh, BTW, click the pic if you want a larger view.

How well do those work with the Anastasia body morph? I have no desire to use Alyson2 without the Anastasia body.

Oboy PhilC and ElorOnceDark! I am positively looking forward to these!! WOW!!

Blackhearted thank you so much for the update notice in my email. I really felt special when I got two. I figured you really wanted to make sure I got it.  :-) It is all in the way you look at things.

Please remember that vendors like you are a treasure that I and I am sure others value and appreciate. I love this figure and I am looking forward to having more time to work with her.

I mentioned above my experience.  Dial off the anastasia morph on the head, and then apply these faces.  The head seam does not match up to the neck, but you can use the Morph tool to "smooth" it out.  The MAT at the same place gets a little off, but its just skin, so its not too noticeable.

See the render above, that is with one of these morphs (the one above that does not look like anastasia)

grichter ( ) posted Sat, 31 December 2011 at 7:20 PM

My 2 cents...

Not that I like to spend money :)  But to make the various alternative characters take hold they need items in the market place where they hopefully get enough sales that the other merchants take notice and start supporting them also. Not sure that mechants pay much attention to Freebies. Otherwise the alternative characters will slowly fade into the distance and we will be back to square one.

imax24 ( ) posted Sat, 31 December 2011 at 8:15 PM

Victoria started out as an alternative character. God knows there was a need for one back then. I think there has always been a need for a character who was drop-dead gorgeous out of the box, and the GND series (along with Aery Soul's Alice) has met that need.

Yokasobi ( ) posted Sat, 31 December 2011 at 8:48 PM

Wait… GND is otb? Where's the box? Lol, just messing with you.

For those that are interested, check my freebee "Magnets for Anastasia." There is a magnet in there to make 3Dream's heads fit Ana after you turn off the Ana morph for the head.

basicwiz ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 2:02 AM · edited Sun, 01 January 2012 at 2:05 AM

As far as morphs go, I've got another bit to correct something left out of Ana that would be useful, but have no idea how to offer it. I suspect Rendo will not authorize it to be offered in the freebee section due to its intimate nature. Any suggestions as to how to get this "bit" out to those who want it? (and I would especially appreciate a suggestion from a Mod here!)

Thanks basicwiz, most useful magents.

I was wondering if there's a way we can inject all of 3Dreams head morphs without overwriting any existing channels the way they do now so they can all be loaded on Alyson.   I like to mix and match :)

If you're talking about the squishy boob morphs basicwiz, I think ShareCG will take em...lol. If not, I'll put those on my site too :P However, I don't see why RO wouldn't take em for freestuff....you could always contact Bobby or brynna and ask :).

As long as you don't use an explicit image and describe it tastefully, I don't see why they wouldn't allow it in Freebies. I once posted a morph to make V4's breasts look more like she had a top on when using 2nd skins. The image centered on her boobs but I used a 2nd skin so she wasn't nekkid.

Blackhearted ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 9:15 AM · edited Sun, 01 January 2012 at 9:23 AM

im going to take a wild guess that theyre likely not boob morphs :P

BTW Happy New Year everyone :)

basicwiz ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 9:28 AM

ROFL. Blackhearted is exactly right. The morph has NOTHING to do with her breasts. From that comment, I'm sure everyone realizes what the morph concerns. :)

imax24 ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 9:31 AM

Ohhhhhh.... Well, if it's something that Gabe agrees should be in GNDA, maybe he'd use it in a future release. If not, I still think Freebies would take it if there weren't any gynecological images. Could be wrong.

It's not the hosting that is the issue. I've got a server leased with all sorts of storage and transfer. It is how to get the word out that the item is available and point to it. For some reason, I figure Rendo will see that as a TOS violation! Of course, if they ARE willing to have it in the freebees, then all my worry is for naught!

Haruchai ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 9:41 AM · edited Sun, 01 January 2012 at 9:43 AM

I thought you could post a desciption and possibly even a link (old knowledge from the Japanese Freebie thread) but put a 'not safe for work' warning on it.

Just in case anyone is wondering what you're referring to, I posted about ShareCG but then edited my post after reading that hosting was not an issue. Still if you are looking for a wide audience that's probably the best place if it doesn't get accepted here.

Letterworks ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 12:51 PM

Kalypso,

GND Anastasia uses posers PMD files to inject her morphs. This setup actually creates it's own morph channels with no need to have pre-exisitng blank channels already present in the figure and can be loaded with a pose file.

There's a write up on the method on NERD3D's site here:

http://www.nerd3d.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=13

It's actually not a hard system at all, just different from the DAZ injections. PMD files had some early problems that seem to have been fixed in later release.

I'm actually surprised this set up isn;t used more thru out the community since it can be used with any figure and you don;t have the problem of over writing a pre-exisiting channel when installing 2 morph sets, as sometimes happens with V4 when vendors use the conflicitng channels in their sets, as for example the fact that a PMD injection file can add Blackhearted's Elfear morph "on top of" Anastasia's morphs.

Nerd3D's a nice guy and would probably answer any questions and I'll also try and help if you need it

Thank you Letterworks and thanks for the link too, I had that but must have lost it somewhere in the mess that is my bookmarks :)

I, too, think PMD files are the best choice but for now I was just trying to change the references in 3Dream's face morphs so that's why I used Nerd's channel injector.  Not wanting to derail this thread from the clothing subject I started a new one describing my problem.   If it's not asking too much could you take a look please?   Thanks again.

Uhm not trying to by OT, but I am very very very new to making things fit...this Wardrobe Wizard....I tried reading about it...is the actual program built into Poser 2012?  I have that any possible 20 bucks for some add on packs, just can't afford the 60 for the standalone.  Was just wondering.  I tried reading on the website of the creator and it made it sound like I can already play with this?  Unfortunately my newness is showing.  Have never been in the cloth room...haven't used dynamic clothes....probably about to get very frustrated....but I am off to install all the wonderful freebies I found for Ana!  Thanks everyone :)

One request...I need fantasy clothes LOL.  Everyday clothes don't fit my renders very well....I guess I can go do nekkid Ana in a cave or similar place with a dragon and a pony maybe :)  I have swords hehe!

Letterworks ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 2:15 PM

PhilC's Poser plugin version of Wardrobe Wizaard is included with Poser 2012, It includes the conversion files for the Poser standard figures. If you look in the"Scripts" drop down there will be an entry for Wardrobe Wizard that will initialize the plug-in and give direct you on how to launch it;s main menu. This additional figure information PhilC sells at his site work with this version of WW. Oh and you really should grab the Antonia specific files he mentions earlier in this thread.

There is a secotion on the Wardrobe Wizard plug-in in the Poser Reference Manual which can be accessed from the "Help"drop down.

3doutlaw ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 3:07 PM

Ditto on getting the new Anastasia pack for WW.  Does a much better job!  For WW, you'll need to To and From character.  So in this case the Anastasia is like $8.95 and the from.  Of course probably the most popular is to get V4.  Alternatively, you can poke around the included stuff with P2012, and use any of that, as those figures are included.

The one included with P9/2012 may be better, as it can do the weightmap transfer...versus standalone.

I am running a quick convert on Fighting Fae to see how it comes out.  I'll post a render when its done.  Its a very practical armor for the female warrior :tongue1:

You mean as opposed to most fantasy female combat gear, which look like bump-and-grind costumes from 'Burlesque'?

Actually, a half-naked woman with a sword has a big advantage over her male opponent. It's called diversionary tactics. :-D

Yokasobi ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 9:06 PM

True, but not so great against female opponents of any type, and probably not against dragons in general. :P

Iirc, the closest we see to NVIATWAS in history is a woman who brings a dagger to bed. ;)
