Subject: Poser 9 Problems...Can someone help?

Okay, so I purchased the brand new Poser 9 from E-bay, however I've run into a problem....MY OLD FILES WON'T UPLOAD FOR USE...the only thing that uploads is my base files...M4...V4.2 and V3...can anyone whose ever experienced this problem, or has been successful in uploading their old files let me know what I am doing wrong and how to fix this? Thank you.

Also on another not, the when I went to personalize my poser I got this message that my serial number is invalid. Anyone know what that is all about? Thanks again for anyone willing to give me a hand!

You should ask for the money back. SM don't sell Software via Ebay and those Software over there are mostly Ilegal.

This is probably why your serial don't work.

Contact SM; maybe they can help you.

Yeah, ebay's really good about that. P9 is too new - something dodgy is going on for someone to be selling it on there as new software.

     The serial number can only be used by one person.  This license to use the software cannot be transferred.

      My speculation is that someone bought and installed P9 on their computer, then put the discs back into the jewelbox and sold it.  You can't activate the software with that serial because that serial has already been used.

     Only consider buying from third parties (Amazon, et al) if it is a boxed version with the factory seal intact.  If it is a download version, then the original purchaser was sent the serial, and if the seller had access to the serial, you should assume that the serial has been used.
