Subject: 3dream new face anastasia problem

michelvanspeybroeck ( ) posted Sun, 08 January 2012 at 2:05 PM · edited Sun, 24 November 2024 at 6:15 PM

I downloaded one of 3d new face morphs for Alyson 2.

I inject the morph and dial it back to 0,5. So far so good, i save and close the poser scene.

When i reopen the poser scene the dial for the morph is still on 0,5 but the morph is gone and the dial does not react.

In order to get the dial working back i have to apply or reinject  the 3d new face from the pose library?? But that changes al other morphsettings for the face to, so i have to redo the face completely with all the morph settings i like.

Please help.

Michel

I assume from the use of Alyson 2 that you are using either Poser 9 ot 2012 in which case are you using external morph targets and have you installed SR1.

Not sure if this is your problem but there was a fix in SR1 that fixed a similar problem.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Are you using external binary morph files?

If so try turning that option off in General Preferences.

I'm in agreement with PhilC.  This sounds like a PMD problem associated with External Binary Morphs.  Do what he suggests.

Thanks a lot.
