I tried looking for this contest but I see it's finished although it's not the 16th and I had planned on uploading some images on the 15th as I marked it on my calendar.   So, I was just wondering if this is a glitch or if something changed and it was cut short without notice.

Bugger.  I missed the deadline again.

I really will have to stop making stuff and actually render something.

Well that's the thing, I didn't miss the deadline.  The link above says the deadline is 16th Feb midnight.   And I'm sure it said that when it was announced because I marked my calendar for the 15th to be sure I had them in on time.

Yep, I understand.  I will, however, miss it because I haven't even started anything.  Silly me.

I'm going to render a whole boatload of banners and hang onto 'em for the next challenge.  :)  Then I'll hit you all with about 3 million of the damn things.  And they'll all be Daleks.  And you'll love them or be exterminated.
