I would like to Know is it possible to add a pre set  light set to an exsisting scene with out loosing the lights that are already there? I am not very good with setting up lights , but think I have to light sets that together will do what I want

you can add lights to lights already set up.  in P7 and P12, not sure about P6.

there be 2 check mark icons on the library tab, you want the Add to check icon.

you shouldn't need any script, is a builtin function.

if you mouse over double check, the tool tip explains the action

(that thread is over 8 years old, things do change)
