If you are new to P9 or PP2012 and have started to use V4 Weight map from Poser Place, I have read some posts scattered around elesewhere about people not being able to find V4-WM's head. It's still there. It just moved to a new location in the list. (Chest Parts)

Here is a tip you can use if you want the Head actor back into the top level of the Body Parts drop down list while using V4WM

A feature added to P9-PP2012 is the ability to control how things are displayed in the Body Parts Pop up window or list. Before P9 or PP2012 you had this single long list when you selected the Body Parts drop down list that depending on the character and the number of body actors and depending on your screen size could extend to the bottom of you view port. In P9 and PP2012 that changed.

Using the original V4 and the default Poser settings of 20 when you selected the body parts down down list you would see things like Head Parts amd Left Shoulder Parts or Right Shoulder parts with an arrow to the right that you could select to show a sub pop-up window of the actors attached to the Head and Left or Right shoulders.

Because V4 Weight Mapped from Poser Place added some helper bones the actor count is now higher. So with the default setting of 20 the head is now found in the Chest Parts.

If you want V4WM's Head back on the top level of the drop down list go to your Poser Preferences and click on the Interface Tab and in the bottom left you should see Object Popup Menu (see the red circle in the attached image). Change the value from 20 to 26 and V4WM's Head should now appear at the top level of the Body parts drop down list.

The original (unweight mapped) V4 drop down list on my Mac doesn't seem to change the way it is displayed using 26 instead of 20. Why? Only the programmers at Smith Micro could answer that :) YMMV.

I only checked the effect on V4 and V4WM by changing it to 26 instead of 20. Using 26 could change the way other characters are displayed in the drop down list like Antonia, Miki3, or other characters. If you don't like using 26 for a specific character, change it back to 20 or some other number that suits you needs :)
