I do not know what the spaces where you place photos on album pages is called or how to make them?  Are they called frames?  Masks?  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking for info or a tutuorial on how to create them.  I do not know how to phrase this when searching on google so I am getting everything but what I want to learn right now.  Thank you

Sincerely, RM

do you mean you want to create a "web" photo gallery in PS?

if so, in previous version of PS (prior to CS4) it was under FILE --> AUTOMATE --> WEB PHOTO GALLERY

Now in CS5, you need to do it in Bridge... it's under OUTPUT TO WEB.

not sure if this is what you're asking about or not. if i'm way-off-base let me know.

Scott, I am sorry I was not clear but since I dont know what you call what I want to learn about it makes it difficult.  Let me try again.  I am looking to make templates for album/book pages wher eyou can have places where you add images behind frame areas?  Possibly called clipping masks????  Not sure  Some of the designs are pretty fancy.  There is a transparent area to insert an image under a pretty frame area.  Does this help explain it better?

Are  you looking for tutorials about scrapbooking?  If so a google search for scrapbooking with photoshop should  give you results.

I am sorry I do not know of any tutorials off hand. I would, however, if this is what you want to do, recommend you take the files to somewhere like staples to have it printed.

I only use professional print companies for my images so staples wont work for me.  I am looking to make high end wedding and boudoir album templates.  But I will look to see if scrap booking is the same idea.  Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and information.

What you are wanting to create is called quick pages, there are lots of those in the scrapbook industry.  I tried a search with the terms "quick pages scrapbook" and "quick pages  tutorial scrapbook", I found lots of places where already made quick pages are available for sale  and found tutorials on how to use already made quick pages, but couldn't find any that actually shows you how to make your own from scratch.  I'm sure there are some out there though, I just didn't have the time to search more deeply this morning but now that you have the correct term, maybe you will be more lucky.

Sorry to not be able to be of more help...  😕

I find it hard to understand exactly what you are looking for. Did you by any chance find what you were looking for already?

I print my posters here with convenience
