Subject: Need some input on new clothing package for V4 and Anastasia.

I am putting together a clothing package for both V4 and Anastasia. I have not started on Anastasia, so we’ll see how that goes.

The picture is of one of the two dresses. The other is a single strap mini.

My first question is what do you think would be good ideas for inclusions in the package to make it more attractive: necklace, bracelet, etc.  What are you looking for as a customer, creator and/or artist?

I’m just wondering what people have found to be important to the Poser community. I was thinking that I would make the mini conforming and the other one dynamic. The split just lends itself to the cloth room.

Any suggestions for problems you see in the split dress or ideas for changes and additions would also be greatly appreciated.

The texture you see on the dress is not going to be in the final package. It was just quick and easy.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Since you're going dynamic, how about a nice shawl to wear with the dress?

Good idea. Maybe even one that goes around the waist.

I would need a jacket and a version of the dress with a less revealing split, or no split. The jacket can have short or long sleeves.

Thanks Nanette. This is a sarong dress. There will be a version in the package that has a split, but the cloth wraps around under itself and would be considered modest. I'll see about making a jacket for it.

Dresses that are not cut up to the navel is needed, also no more skin tight outfits there are plenty of the out there already.

A short sweater, or waist length jacket in a complenting color would be nice too.

I'm old school, less is not more, leave something for the imagination is more sexy that begin able to see what she does or does not have on under that dress/skirt is so much better.

How about making some updated vintage outfits? I'd buy from you for sure.

Makes sense Lisa. The best approach is to make the package work for the widest variety of people. Give them all the parts they need to go in any direction.

just wondering if in the dynamic version it can be posed with shoulder straps down as in your render without it falling off the body?

Yes. There will be several different ways to constrain areas. One allows the straps to move freely and only constrains the top breast area of the bodice where the straps intersect it. That is what you are seeing in the picture.

I like the dress very much, I think it looks very sexy. I always go wide eyed a drooling when I see a dress with a slit up the thigh! 🤤

The only criticism I have is the shoulder straps. They look paper thin. I wonder if you could use displacement or something to give them a bit of thickness?

A shawl that goes around the waist sounds like an excellent idea! Earrings, long and dangley, but can be simple, would be another nice idea.

Thanks lesbentley. You are 100% right about the straps. I will work on getting them thicker. Like the earrings idea. Maybe a necklace too.

make sure that close up the edges of the dress look thick and as if they have seams.

Thanks estherau. I just started working on that yesterday. I decided to just shell the edges to keep the poly count down and still give the look of thickness.

How about including the pose sequence you used to get the nice fold on the sitting pose.
