Subject: April Photography Forum Challenge - "Food"

My second upload a one pot meal. A combination of Wors or sausages that i did cut in pieces, Mealies and macaroni and of course spices.

YUMMY! Food there, but I couldnt translate the word Mealies. What is that?

I think it is Corn Helle.

They also grind it and one can make porridge with it.

It is that yellow small pieces that you see in between the macaroni and suasages.

I see the corn, Christo, and peas (I think).
It looks SO good.
So handsome that you cook.

Helle my dear, it's not bad, if it is anything other than cottage cheese.
It's fantastic that your son has such a tasting hobby.
Previously I bought freshly ground corn at the mill, and made wholemeal bread.
Did everything myself, including quark, youghurt at that time.
I also had a Kefir-plant, which you can make a healthy drink.
Unfortunately, I do not have this plant anymore.

I'm curious what will be the subject in the month of May, shop, shop, dear Carin LOL,
just kidding..

OH!   That is what I thought it was, but it didnt lookt so yellow as I expected, so I wasnt sure.   Thank you.  I like corn alot. :)

Now I get hungry and that is allowed, as it is suppertime here.  I will have salad with Tuna fish in it.
