Subject: How to Make Hair Fits

flibbits ( ) posted Fri, 20 April 2012 at 1:57 PM · edited Wed, 25 September 2024 at 12:04 AM

The reason I wonder how people make hair fits is there are some hairs that don't have fits for M4 or others.

I'd like to try making a hair fit, but don't know where to begin.

I can tweak a hair and make it acceptable, but not a perfect fit like hair fits make for other hairs.

Netherworks Studios does put out Hair Conversion Products for several characters, including M4.  Here is the link for the M4 system:

My own approach for hair props is to get them as close as possible uing x-y-z scaling, then to touch them up with the morphing tool, or in some cases, a magnet or two. It's not actually that hard.

Figure hair is a whole 'nother issue.

Conversion products don't help unless they convert for all characters, or more than a few.
