I know DS has this option and Poser 9 I think as well, but can this also be obtained somehow in Poser 8? You select an object and the camera brings it into view.

I think Ockham's 'FindThis.py' will do what you want. You can find it in the Cameras section at http://ockhamsbungalow.com/Python/

If you place the script in the location shown below, you will be able to access it from the 'Ockham' sub-menu of the Scripts menu on the menu bar.
