Subject: Problem viewing poser library

buddhanature28 ( ) posted Fri, 11 May 2012 at 1:11 PM · edited Mon, 03 February 2025 at 5:38 PM

Hi Haven't used my poser pro 2010 in a few months and can't get my poser library to open now. It opens and sits on my windows tool bar. I can mouse over it and see that the poser library window is there. But for the life of me I can't get that window to maximize onto the screen so I can see or use it. Has anyone had this problem? I am using a Lenevo N500 laptop with windows7. Thanks. Heather

I've attached a pic of what I see on the screen. As you can see the library on the side is visible when I mouse over but will not open. Thanks

It's probably stuck offscreen. After activating it from task bar,

tap these keys exactly as I say - tap, not hold:

Alt

space

m

up-arrow

Then move the mouse - you will find your window.

This happens to me sometimes when I switch primary monitors.  I found the solution via search engine, but it took a long time.  I should have know BB would have the answer.  Now, thankfully it's right in this thread.  Next time it happens (and it will), I'll know I just have to search my own posts for something like, oh, Poser disappeared or Poser vanished or Poser off screen -- and I'll find it. :)

The thing to do if you accidently move a window off screen on occasion is to get everything set the way you want, and then use one of the UI dots to save it.  I have lost the library more than once, and that will bring it back into view.

Just want to say thanks for this.  I was having the same problem.  (Just changed my Windows text size setting - I may be young at heart, but my eyes are getting middle-aged.)  Never thought it would make the Poser library disappear.
