Nice work, I love the lighting, are those Johns props?
I agree about the hair also, makes her look much older.

Fifty Shades Of Grey
Thanks to Amethst25 for refreshing my memory about that book :)

I can't work out the stupid method of inserting from the gallery!
Great Render but I wanted to see more of Christian! *smrik..
I don't recall mentioning reading Fifty Shades.. (finished all three books in record time) But glad I triggered your memory!

Nice renders everyone squeezing a few more before my machine heads off. I really should have a tower with moocho fans whatdoyoudoo...More fun with DS4 dynamics. Found I can control the look of the cloth/wrinkles more with the smoothing modifier and not lose the drape. If only we could import our own mesh for dynamics. I like the cloth simulation more than posers more and more.
Alas, poor Cleopatra, she pissed off one of her servants by using her mate, so the servant girl got even, there is a lesson to be learned here.....I'll let you know when I think of it, LOL.

Abi.
Im lucky enough to produce a subject matter that I get to sell a fair amount of commission work its bought my my notebook Reality and a boatload of content.. My PS3 BR drive just died after 4 years i need to sell more to buy a BR player...
If you're a technical sort, mine also died about two years ago and I was able to buy the BR lens and drive assembly off ebay from a guy that sells them for 65 bones, and I recall that he'll knock off $14 or so if you send in your old one. It's a bit of a pain to disassemble everything, but was far cheaper than replacing the entire PS3. I have one of the first gen's that has hardware PS2 compatability, which apparently are quite valuable on the used market. If you or somebody you know wants to go that route, I'll get you the seller's name.

I haven't read the material, but from what I saw on Ellen Degen's show last week, it looks good and filthy! I'm not a habitual viewer of hers, but once in a while I flip channels in the morning when I'm utterly bored. Not sure if it was one of her spoofs, but apparently the publishers wanted her to record the audio book version and she had a bit of an, uh, issue with mimicing sounds of certain scenes. Quite hilarious Doc!

In the event it got shoveled over during the day, what did you use for the wet-look dynamic cloth?

Long time, no see...
Here's my last "classic portrait".
I've posted it here (and in Renderosity gallery) also to help Paolo to reach the first place in the "Galleries-Art Charts-Most Credited Vendors". It seems he's now at the 3rd place, procedeeing at giant's steps towards the top.
(btw... congrats Paolo for the IMDB credit).

Thanks Xandi :)
Three meshlights. One of them right behind the camera and fairly big, second one right/front facing her left side, third one placed on the left between her chair and the wall slightly facing forward to her right side.
In the Gamma and FilmResponse department of Luxrender I used Gamma set to 2.6 and Advantix 400CD
I also used a little postwork in PS 1)Sharpening, 2)Virtual Photographer filter color 'classic09' faded back to 50% and 3) 'Image > Adjustments > Autolevel also faded back to 50%

Postwork!!?? Say it isn't so, oh I am so disillusioned right now, LOL.
Stunning as usual.

The cloth is a dynamic sheet I got at Daz from optitex. You can resize it to any size and also use the smoothing modifter to change the wrinkle size.

Great renders everybody and thank you again for pushing Reality near the top. Callad, thanks again for your dedication, love the portrait. We are currently at #3. We are so close to the top, I can smell it! :)
BTW, the RealGels are now available again, here at Renderosity of course.
Lastly, I will be at SIGGRAPH in LA a month from now, if you are coming we might set up a meeting.
Have a great wekend!

Still working on my Daz versions of my Steel Rising characters, and I think this guy is done. Took the longest to build (all custom dialed from Genesis) but took the least messing with materials. Click for full size."It looked so easy when Dolly Parton did it"

IBL, and a bit of Zbrushing for the push-up effect.
None of the DAZ morphs gave her a good 'lift', every combination I tried caused ugly ridges or folds, so I made my own control slider for V5 using GoZ. It's absolutely great to have that possibility!
Cheers!
I wanted to keep this set exclusive to Reality users, so I have contacted Anton (Doc) and he has very kindly agreed to store these props on his website for us.

Quick one I did overnight with SLG. Switched this character's texture from Danae's Dublin to Callad's Charlie & Neve texture. Speaking of which Callad.. if/when you see this, the character morph for both the Charlie and the Neve characters totally defeated GenX. First ones, so far, in like 66 character conversions I've done with GenX. Click the pic for the full-size version.

Cool WB I had finished this before sending my system off. Its my Madonna head morph but I think at that angle it looks more like Anne Hathaway.Quote - Quick one I did overnight with SLG. I almost cannot believe that this is done with the C&N texture. First of all I am pretty sure we never provided such 'red' lips, and secondly the texture is so white-ish! Did that happen in post?
As for the GenX, I succesfully got Charlie as well as Neve her headmorphs in GenX, the bodymorphs I never tried. :)
I do like the render though! :)

I think the overall color of the body was a little off due to rendering in SLG.. I have to figure out how to really manipulate the lights for SLG if there even is a way. As for the lips... that's just changing the diffuse on the lips themselves from the native off-white to bright red. And yes.. the head mrophs worked. What I think the deal is with the body morphs is that it seems to me that GenX doesn't like it when you decrease breast size. Same size as V4 and bigger it handles just fine; but when you go lower it seems to create a concave chest. I'm going to fiddle with it a bit today and see if there is something I missed.
As far as post-work goes, all I did was to lighten the overal scene a bit and increase contrast since SLG seems to make dark(er) renders for me. That and slappin on my mandatory jabberjaws label.
