Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that my seam guides and old free stuff are no longer available here at Renderosity, but you can still get them at my storage site at www.snowsultan.com. Thanks for your understanding.  :)

Thanks for the heads up, Snow.  I don't know what I'd have done without your seam guides.  Well, I do really; I'd have had to make me own and that'd have been a pain in the arse.  :)

I think you will be missed here more than you know. ;-(

Thank you for the heads up and again, since I have said it over time, thank you for your kind contributions to the community over the years. :-)

Thanks to everyone so far, I appreciate the nice words and am glad my seam guides have been useful!

Considering what I've seen over the past year and this last weekend especially, I doubt it, but thank you very much.  :)  I'll still look at the galleries and stuff here, and you can always contact me at my other sites if you need anything.

I am not skilled enough to have used your seam guides but I have read with interest  your input in the many threads of this forum.  Some I agreed with and some not completely but the same is true for most people I guess.  That said, you will be missed and more importantly the precentage of those that abuse the forum and remain will grow accordingly.

All the best and enjoy your 3D, hope you may feel you can return at some point.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Thanks, glad to hear that! Thanks to everyone else too for the continuing nice words.

Hornet, I'm not completely going away, I'll still take a look at the galleries and browse the forums once in a while. It's just that if I do make anything new, it will be on my other pages (like my fantasy character MOR or any tutorials).

"and more importantly the precentage of those that abuse the forum and remain will grow accordingly."

Indeed, I thought trying to defend what I believed and correct misconceptions was the right thing to do. Now I know I'm "in their house", so I won't bother.

Much appreciated, thanks again!

I see you helped me on my first big poser scene. I think you explained "rendering in layers" to me in depth iirc... Anyway,,, cheers and thanks. ,r

If only people knew who they were talking to...

I do seem to have gotten into this hobby of Poser and 3D CG, and subscribed to these various forums, during quite a turbulent time... on some fronts at least!

But nice site there at snowsultan.com. Cool stuff... thank you! I'm sure in the round it is for the good that it is now focused in a dedicated site of its own...

Cheers ;-)

Thanks, snowsultan.  Those guides are very much appreciated.  Please do contribute more content, they are well thought out and useful.

Richardson: Wow, that is a very complex image! I don't remember what I might have told you about rendering in layers, but yes, for something with that many figures, I would definitely combine multiple renders and use Photoshop's visibility masks (or something similar) to put the whole thing together. Glad I could help.

Thanks for stopping by my site Monkeycloud, although any new updates and images will be on my dA page long before that one. That's mainly just a storage place.  ;)

Hborre, glad the guides help.  :)  I hope the community can still find my things useful regardless of where they're located.

UPDATE

All of the seam guides are now available again and you won't have to go to their product page at DAZ to find them (they're not working on DAZ's site at the moment anyway). Thanks for your patience.

Also added a new free item, the INJ/REM MOR I use for the character in most of my images (the black fantasy woman with the afro, "Smacky").

Thanks,

SnowS
