Subject: Cannot access cart or 2nd page of wishlist

moriador ( ) posted Thu, 14 June 2012 at 6:18 AM · edited Tue, 10 December 2024 at 7:59 AM

The site is incredibly slow. I am finding it very difficult to look at products.  It is really hard to use the forums.  Pages are constantly timing out.

Most pages I can eventually reach, after perhaps five minutes.

The lightbox script on the editorial tab of product pages is also no longer working.

However, I cannot access my cart at all.

I can load my wishlist, but not the second page of my wishlist.

I can still (very very slowly) access checkout, so the things already in my cart could, maybe, be bought.

I'd really like to use the Prime coupon, but it's only good for a day, and Renderosity has been acting up for more than 24 hours now.

What browser and version are you using as we haven't received any other complaints like this and I'm seeing the site pretty fast today so just wondering what on your end might be causing it to work like this for you.

Can you give us a product example of the "editorial tab lightbox script" not working as I just checked some and not seeing an issue there either.

When you say you cannot access your cart at all, can you be more specific about what is happening and your exact steps to access it as this is also not having any other issues at this time. Are you getting an error? if so what is the error message you receive

Thank you

Stacey

Sorry, just came back.

After sleeping, it was easier to cope with. :)

I disabled all of my Firefox add-ons and every page here works fine.  After adding them back, one at a time, it's apparent that Ad-Block is no longer compatible.  When it's enabled, I have all of these issues, and when it's disabled, the site runs as expected.  Strange, because I've never had this issue here before, but I'm going to assume either an update here or an update to Ad-Block has caused some sort of incompatibility.

No problem.  I'll just have to remember to disable it when I want to browse Renderosity.

Just out of curiousity is it the latest version of FF? I had to stop using it at various sites I go to because too many settings had to be changed or this and that to get things to work as they should.. I no likey the new FF lol:)

Egads, I have no idea.  It's FF 12.0, but apparently there are updates available.

I had been putting off updating until a version came out that worked with Gmail Manager.  But what you describe would explain a lot.

I also realize I can just browse Renderosity with Chrome, until FF bugs work themselves out, if that's what it is.  It was just a surprise. Everything works beautifully. I'm loving the new changes to the vendor stores, and then BOOM!!! But I do think it coincided with an update to FF, and I never considered that in my sleep deprived state.

Thanks.

Yeah I just can't use it because I go along just fine then go to a website and certain things are messed up and then I have to change another setting for that site, go back to another that might have worked fine before then it's messed up.

I don't like it at all:( I like my Chrome so I use it mostly on both my computers
