I have 3 Northern Inuit Dogs - they are kennel mates to the ones that were in the programme as Direwolves.  Would love a Poser version of them!

My self-build system - Vista 64 on a Kingston 240GB SSD, Asus P5Q Pro MB, Quad 6600 CPU, 8 Gb Geil Black Dragon Ram, CoolerMaster HAF932 full tower chassis, EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti Superclocked 2 Gb, Coolermaster V8 CPU aircooler, Enermax 600W Modular PSU, 240Gb SSD, 2Tb HDD storage, 28" LCD monitor, and more red LEDs than a grown man really needs.....I built it in 2008 and can't afford a new one, yet.....!

My Software - Poser Pro 2012, Photoshop, Bryce 6 and Borderlands......"Catch a  r--i---d-----e-----!"

I love the clothing in the series and wouldn't mind at all trying to do some face morphs.  Gorgeous production values in the series, though I'm waiting on season 2 to buy it on blue ray.   I have season one and have played them over and over again.

AM's wolf might work for the dire, it has real fur.

i reckon a daenerys targaryen and a kharl drogo would be great in a render, i'm looking for some pale skin mats for her but i reckon drogos face and beard wouldnt be easy

There are several renders already posted in the gallery.  Jon Snow, Daenarye, Tywin Lannister, Brienne come to mind.

I'm so glad I got it when I did.

StudioArtVartanian has a Jason Mamoa look a like..

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/atlas/89123

even has cuts and blood spattered skins.

I'd postwork in his beard, since it was pretty special.  Danyrs needs a pale skin.  I think some of Maddelrium's girls have very pale skin. Tamara comes to mind.

I like John Snow in the series but he isn't as described in the books.  In the books he looks more like his father.  I think the cast Sean Bean very well as Ned Stark, and all of the Lanisters are cast well.  Peter Dinkling (Tyrion) doesn't have mismatched eyes though, but I think they wanted to not have the audience hate him.  George R Martin said he wanted Peter Dinkling for the part and no one else ever read for it.  They had others read for Ned, but only because they weren't sure they'd be able to get Sean Bean.

I love the show and I just finished catching up on the books. I hope the clothes start showing up.

The first three things I went to find for this were an easily adaptable throne, dragon eggs, and ice textures.  sharecg has some ice that might be helpful, but the search for "ice wall" brought up several hundred results, so I did not save any specific links.

Daz has some nice Easter eggs that might be easy to texture by people who know how:

As for clothing, there are some fantasy sets for V3 and M3 that could probably be modified for newer figures and made to look show-specific.

FaeMoon ( ) posted Thu, 05 July 2012 at 9:44 PM

Well, eggs are pretty easy to make in a modeler, actually.  Then you just cut out some of it to make a morph for the 'hatching'.  The textures would be cool to make, especially using some of the SSS nodes, I'd seen on some dragon skins.

DAZ has a Ned Stark look-a-like:

At the moment $18.95 is too much for me.

Try sending a site mail and ask if you can buy it privately via paypal or a gift certificate to a store of their choosing.

Here is a texture pack for it too. Same vendor

I've bought several things from vendors privately.  One or two have said no, but that is only because they no longer had a copy of the product to give to me, not because they didn't want to conduct a private sale.

It is available at DAZ ... http://www.daz3d.com/shop/wolf-by-am/

I bought this a long time ago, but the texture is perfect for making V4 look like Dany. The morphs will need a bit of tweaking, however.

I love this series and will no doubt be using it as a springboard for clothing and armor...be on the lookout! 😄

was just looking at your modeling thread above, looking forward to seeing your GOT stuff, The ice wall is a wip, i've been asked if i could make a sword throne, that might be an interesting challenge lol.......

I think i'm going to consider modelling some scenes from the series, maybe the interior of a tavern or the royal palace courtyard, so many ideas , so little experience lol
