Subject: Timeline and Materials Question

It has been a long time since I have used Vue. I need to have an animation in which the material on an object instantly changes from one to another. But when I try to do this I get a gradual change over the frames between the keyframes. How do I get the material to stay the same right up to the instant I want it to change?

In Saturation folder is a pre-defined spline. :)
